Pastor had gay son beat up at church
A pastor who is divorcing his wife has allowed his uncle and the deacons of his church to beat his son up outside the church after throwing them out of the church. Fortunately the victim is fighting back legally since the cops refused to make an arrest:

another nail in the coffin of religion in america.
@jaymikey - yes but lately they have been completely out of control. They know they are losing the culture wars so they are getting completely desperate and there true colors are coming out.
I will never understand homophobia.
@BoulderChristina - homophobia works fantastic when you use religion for the shield of your justification.
I hope that these people get punished for attacking these kids. The sheriff in this video pissed me off. Acting as if it's almost impossible for his deputies to behave in such a manner. Give me a break. I have no doubt that the officers behaved in the manner they were accused of. I have a feeling this pastor and deacons will somehow get away with assaulting these kids. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.
I can't believe the police did nothing about it.
@jeribaby18 - It's pretty obvious the officer captain guy was full of it. Fortunately LGBT rights attorneys are starting to get more and more powerful and connected.
@Nushirox2 - Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Unfortunately.
Dat nigga got a lawsuit coming that's gonna buy he ass a Corolla, bare minimum.
@Mockdonimus_Tuntsweet - Absolutely, probably more like a Corona. He would have been better off with a .357, but the media will use it.
@LadyboyRevolution - BAAAHHHH HA HA HA HA, dad nigga said 'Corona'...Toyota ain't make the Corona anymore tho, he might have to get a used
Kia Dos Equis...BAHAHAHAHAH whooo, nigga I been BBQ'in all day I'm spun offa that Henny! We been on the deck cracking jokes all day, I swear I was about to run out and swim with the dolphins but my niggaz stopped me cuz I'd prolly have drowned.
@LadyboyRevolution - Don't they have some kind of screening process
@Nushirox2 - Unfortunately they can get away with almost anything they want. You would be seriously surprised how people who are given authority can abuse there positions and completely get away with that. This happens all day long around the country and has happened ever since the beginning. To us in the outside world we would think that in a so called "civilized" society and the justice process, that the so called "good guy's" cannot get away with discrimination or breaking the rules. Unfortunately it is so easy for them to do that it happens all the time. I encourage you to talk to a criminal defense lawyer off the books sometime. He or she could tell you stories that would "blow your mind" metaphorically speaking.
@LadyboyRevolution - Quis custodiet ipsos custodes
@Nushirox2 - wish I had an answer to that question. Probably why the idea of "God" and "justice in the next life" was created.
@LadyboyRevolution - I guess. I read it in one of the Dan Brown books (Digital Fortress) and really struck me.
I suppose that that's why we have democracy, so that those in power can be monitored by the average person.
I hope the bastard gets a very long sentence!!!
This is just heartbreaking. It's so sad and horrible that he can't even feel safe in the company of his own family.
@LadyboyRevolution - Does this kind of thing ever make you feel afraid to bring your girlfriend here? Does it frighten her at all?
I am glad that he is fighting back. I hope more people stand up and say enough.
@ZombieMom_Speaks - well I would protect her and make sure we didn't go into places where idiot's were abusing alcohol. That's when people get stupid. I don't need to be going to court for breaking heads. I would also get her a stun gun.
@Erika_Steele - Fortunately it is getting better thanks to the media.
@LadyboyRevolution - It doesn't seem like it where I live. So many of my family and friends think it is OK to bash gay people including ones that actually lived through the Civil Rights Movement. I always ask them what's wrong with them that they can't see that all the crap they are spouting of is the same thing people used to justify their hatred of black people (and all other people of color, which by the way they don't see other races as being oppressed either).
ETA: I know people who would see what the pastor did as being justifiable and that gay people shouldn't try to go to church.
@Erika_Steele - Wow you must live in the south. I live in upstate NY hick-ville but I live close to Ithaca and they are seriously liberal. If you gay bash someone in Ithaca you will probably do prison time. In NYC they will fight back if they are in a group.
@LadyboyRevolution - I live in the deep south. Only Mississippi is worse (or maybe South Florida and South Georgia).
